"I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." — Matthew 16:18
Elohim Congregation was born from the faith, sacrifice, and vision of those who dared to believe God for something great in Erode, Tamil Nadu.
Pioneers of the Vision
Our spiritual mentors, Mr David Sadhananthan and Mrs Mary David, play a vital role in our journey, offering unwavering support and guidance. Their profound wisdom and steadfast faith inspire us to grow spiritually and foster unity while deepening our commitment to godly living. Characterised by humility and vision, they nurture those around them with compassion and integrity. Under their guidance, many have gained strength in their faith, encouraged to walk their spiritual paths with purpose and devotion. Their influence profoundly shapes our lives, leading us toward deeper meaning and fulfilment.
Our spiritual mentors are faithful leaders who provide biblical guidance, pastoral encouragement, and spiritual oversight, helping individuals grow in Christ and fulfil God's calling in their lives.

Pastor · Present
Pastor Lincy Brian collaborates with her husband in leading Elohim Congregation, significantly contributing to the spiritual development and pastoral care of the community. Through her ministry with women, families, and the broader congregation, she fosters an environment of encouragement and unity. Her leadership, compassion, and commitment to biblical principles enhance the congregation's journey of faith.
Mrs. Mary David and her husband, Senior Pastor David Sadhanantham, founded Elohim Congregation in Erode District — a small gathering of 20 to 40 believers who met in a modest building and in the home of Brother and Sister Wade. Led by the Spirit, they covenanted together to form a new congregation dedicated to the living God.
The Lord used His servants mightily with power and revival among the people of the region. Many lives were saved and transformed. The congregation experienced new and rapid growth as people yearning for freedom to worship and serve God with freshness were gathered into the fellowship.
During this fruitful period, several ministers — both men and women — were released to preach and teach the Word of God. Many members were sent out to other places to continue their service unto the Lord, carrying the Gospel into new areas and communities across Tamil Nadu.
Elohim Congregation deepened its commitment to expository preaching, sound doctrine, and biblical discipleship. The church became known as a place marked by joy, warmth, and love for Scripture — a congregation where the full counsel of God was preached faithfully every Sunday.
Pastor Brian George and his wife Pastor Lincy Brian stepped into senior leadership of the congregation, continuing the rich heritage of their family's service to God's people. God blessed the church with continued growth, unity, and a renewed passion to worship and serve Him with freedom and joy.
Elohim Congregation embraced an expanded mission vision — planning to send out missionary teams to preach, teach, and plant new biblical churches. As the Eternal Life of His Inn Ministries Trust & NGO, the church now serves as a bridge between indigenous churches and the nations, equipping missionaries and mobilising the body for global Gospel advance.
Over three and a half decades after that first gathering of 20 to 40 believers, Elohim Congregation continues to be a vibrant, Spirit-filled community. We remember those precious souls who have been called home to be with the Lord, we honour those who remain faithful, and we welcome all who will carry this vision forward into the future.
"This truly is a convocation of celebration. We remember those precious souls who were called home to be with the Lord. We thank God for the faithful ones who began with us in 1987, who are still here, and those who came later and remain. For their faithfulness, we give thanks to God."✝ Pastor Brian George • Elohim Congregation
From the very first gathering, the Scriptures have been the foundation of everything at Elohim. Expository, Christ-centred preaching has shaped every generation of this congregation.
Prayer has been the heartbeat of this church since 1987. Corporate prayer, intercession, and a prayerful dependence on God have marked every season of Elohim's life.
Two generations of godly leadership — rooted in the same family of faith — have shepherded this congregation with love, humility, and unwavering devotion to the Gospel.
Scores of ministers — men and women — have been raised up, equipped, and released from within Elohim Congregation to carry the Gospel to other towns, regions, and nations.
Our services have always been marked by genuine joy, warmth, and a love for sound doctrine. People have always known that they are truly welcome at Elohim — loved and accepted.
From the beginning, Elohim has had a heart for souls beyond its own walls — sending, supporting, and equipping missionaries to plant biblical churches across India and the world.
"For I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord."
Philippians 3:8Today, Elohim Congregation continues to gather every Sunday morning at Erode — a vibrant, Spirit-filled family coming together to refresh in Elohim. Our services are marked by expositional preaching of the Word of God, worship in song, corporate prayer, Scripture readings, and warm fellowship.
We are grateful for every life touched, every servant raised, and every soul sent out to carry the Gospel forward. We remember with honour those precious members who have gone before us, and we welcome with open hearts all who are yet to come.
The vision God gave to our founders in 1987 burns brightly still — to glorify God, preach the Gospel, build biblical churches, and reach the nations. And we trust that He who began a good work will carry it on to completion.
"We give thanks to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ." — 2 Corinthians 2:14
