The We Care Ministry is the pastoral heart of Elohim Congregation — a dedicated team of trained caregivers, intercessors, and counsellors who walk alongside members of our church family during seasons of pain, loss, illness, and crisis.
We believe the body of Christ is called to "bear one another's burdens" (Galatians 6:2). No one should walk through grief, depression, sickness, or hardship alone. Our ministry ensures that every person in our congregation knows they are seen, loved, and supported.
Whether you are in the hospital, grieving a loss, navigating a difficult season of life, or simply need someone to pray with you — we are here. All care is offered with complete confidentiality, compassion, and the love of Jesus Christ.

Our care extends across three dimensions — physical presence, emotional support, and spiritual intercession — to bring wholeness to every person we serve.
Our care team visits the sick in hospitals and at home — bringing prayer, the Word, and the warm presence of the church family to those who cannot be with us.
Trained pastoral counsellors walk alongside those experiencing bereavement, divorce, job loss, or other crises — with confidential, compassionate biblical support.
A dedicated team of intercessors prays faithfully for every need submitted — in person, online, or by phone. Your burdens are lifted before the throne of God.
A dedicated prayer line is available every week for members to call in their requests and receive prayer from our intercessory team — in faith and love.
Scheduled one-on-one pastoral counselling sessions with a trained pastor or counsellor — addressing emotional, relational, and spiritual struggles with grace.
Every new member of Elohim Congregation is personally welcomed and connected by our care team — ensuring no one feels lost or unknown in our church family.
Facilitated support groups for those facing addiction recovery, grief, chronic illness, and other challenges — meeting regularly in a safe, Christ-centred community.
